The original Leaf and Bean first opened about 12 years ago, and is still in its original location, McMurray PA on Rt. 19 about 1/2 mile north of Donaldsons Crossroads. The Leaf and Bean was intended to be a place for the coffee and cigar lovers. A place to hang out and enjoy themselves in a pleasing enviroment. It worked, they do, we do. The Leaf and Bean has been a favorite for Cigar Smokers because of its excellent location and premium selection of cigars. Please visit us in McMurray when in the area, directly across from Eat and Park on Rt. 19.

Now if you want to experince a Cigar Shoppe like no other, then make a trip through the tunnels and over the bridges and come into the Strip District. You will walk into Key West, the only piece of the Conch Republic north of the Mason-Dixie Line.
At the Leaf and Bean in the Strip, we roast all of our Coffee, because we take coffee seriously. It is always fresh, roasted one pound at a time. If you consider yourself a coffee snob, then you need to stop in, have a cup of fresh roasted, fresh brewed and take a pound home. The Leaf and Bean can roast you a pound of Fresh Roasted Coffee while you enjoy a cup of the finest. You know it hasnt been sitting on a shelve waiting for you. Coffee is at its best 24 hours after roasted, up to about 3 weeks, then it starts to lose the freshness. And never store coffee in the fridge.

Cigars, what can I say, I enjoy a good cigar, sometimes 5 or 6 times a day. I built the Leaf and Bean in the Strip, with cigars in mind, I wanted a place where I could sit back relax and enjoy a fine cigar along with a good cup of coffee. From the ground up I built a large walk-in humidor, stocked it with fresh premium cigars and the rest is history in the making. I consider the Leaf and Bean my club house, you will know what I mean when you see it.

Live Music, another thing we enjoy here is good music and there is nothing better than our local Singer-Songwriters. For three years, we have been sponsoring Singer-Songwriter-Saturdays from Noon - 3:00 PM. We have not missed a Saturday of providing a great place to smoke a cigar, sip a fine cup of coffee and listen to the finest music the city has to offer. Our house Singer Songwrites, Tom Breiding and Bill Toms are two of the burghs finest. Many others have passed through, and we like them all, too many artist to mention. If you enjoy a little stronger drink than coffee with your cigar, you are welcome to BYOB.
